Our Commitment to Safety

Tel Now BD is committed to operating safely at every stage of the fuel delivery process. Safety is not a separate consideration — it is embedded in how we train our team, how we plan deliveries, and how we respond to unexpected situations.

This Safety Policy outlines our obligations to you and the standards we hold ourselves to. We take every reasonable precaution to protect our team, our customers, and the community.

Delivery Personnel Standards

All Tel Now BD delivery personnel:

• Receive training on safe fuel handling procedures before conducting any delivery
• Are briefed on emergency response protocols
• Carry appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for fuel handling
• Are required to follow our internal safety protocols on every delivery, without exception

We do not send untrained personnel on deliveries. If our team identifies a safety concern at a delivery location, they are authorized and required to halt or refuse the delivery and report it immediately.

Vehicle and Equipment Standards

Our delivery vehicles and equipment are maintained to ensure safe fuel transport and transfer:

• Fuel transport containers are appropriate for the type of fuel being transported
• Transfer equipment (pumps, nozzles, funnels) is maintained in working condition
• Fire suppression equipment is carried on all delivery vehicles
• Spill containment materials are available on all deliveries

Location Assessment

Before or upon arriving at a delivery location, our team assesses the site for safety. We will not proceed with a delivery if:

• The location presents fire hazards that cannot be managed
• There is no safe area to perform the fuel transfer
• Ignition sources are present and cannot be controlled
• The receiving container or tank is damaged, leaking, or otherwise inappropriate
• Access to the site requires unsafe driving or maneuvering

In all cases of refusal, we will communicate the specific reason to the customer and offer alternatives where possible.

Customer Safety Responsibilities

Customers using Tel Now BD services are responsible for:

• Ensuring the delivery location is safely accessible and free of unnecessary hazards
• Removing ignition sources (open flames, running engines) from the immediate delivery area before and during fuel transfer
• Ensuring a responsible adult is present and available to supervise the delivery
• Not smoking or using open flames within 10 meters of the delivery point during fuel transfer
• Using appropriate and safe storage containers to receive the fuel
• Informing our team of any known hazards or special conditions at the delivery location before the delivery takes place

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in the delivery being declined for safety reasons.

Incident Response

In the unlikely event of an incident during delivery (spill, fire, injury, or other emergency):

• Our delivery team is trained to follow immediate response protocols
• Emergency services will be contacted where appropriate
• Tel Now BD management will be immediately notified
• The customer will be informed of the incident and next steps

We take all safety incidents seriously and conduct a review after every incident to prevent recurrence.
